March-April
The warm weather is starting to arrive which means water temps are rising and the fish are beginning to pour out of the back country. Redfish, Snook, and Trout are becoming aggressive again after the cold winter. Large numbers of fish come out of the back country daily presenting great opportunity to catch multiple species in one day. Oversize redfish are being caught on topwater plugs in the mornings while the tide is still low, and often while working down edges tailing redfish will appear. Spanish Mackeral, bonita, permit, and triple tail are beginning to show off shore
